Capabilities

Machining routes and their limits

Swiss, gang-tool, turret and five-axis turn-mill machining, milling and finishing, with the size ranges we work in.

Processes

Process and size range

Pick the route by diameter or travel. We confirm the final route when we review your drawing.

  • Swiss turning

    Diameter 1–26 mm

Tsugami, Citizen and Star Swiss-type lathes machine slender shafts, spools, pins and sleeves. Turning can be combined with cross-drilling and cross-milling; key dimensions can reach 0.005 mm, depending on the drawing.

  • Gang-tool turning

    Diameter 1–30 mm

Woen gang-tool lathes machine compact shaft and disc components. Automated loading supports repeat production.

  • Turret turning

    Up to Ø200 mm

Tsugami, Miyano and Doosan turret lathes machine larger shafts and disc-shaped parts up to 200 mm in diameter.

  • Five-axis turn-mill machining

    Mori Seiki NT4200 · Nakamura Super NTX · WT150II

Mori Seiki NT4200 and Nakamura Super NTX / WT150II combine turning, milling, drilling and boring in fewer setups. Six-axis robots with 10 kg payloads support automatic loading and continuous production.

  • Milling

    500–1,100 mm travel

Brother drilling-tapping centers and Doosan, Mazak and Tongtai machining centers mill, drill, ream and tap plates, housings, valve bodies and fixtures. Travel ranges from 500 to 1,100 mm; typical precision is 0.005–0.01 mm.

  • Finishing and threads

Grinding · honing · abrasive flow finishing

In-house centerless grinding finishes shaft diameters; vertical and horizontal honing finishes bores. Abrasive flow finishing removes burrs from internal passages. Thread whirling and rolling support screws, worms and special threads; simple welding and preassembly are also available.

Machinery

Turn-mill centers and robot loading

  • Mori Seiki NT4200

Five-axis turn-mill machining for complex parts finished in fewer setups.

  • Nakamura Super NTX and WT150II

Turn-mill and turning capacity for small to medium components.

  • Robot loading

    Automation for repeat production runs.

Materials

Practical material choices

We machine aluminum alloys, copper and brass, carbon and alloy steels, stainless steel, engineering plastics, titanium and nickel alloys. Material and grade are selected from your drawing.

  • Aluminum alloys

    Housings, blocks and light components.

  • Copper and brass

Connector bodies, fittings and conductive parts.

  • Carbon and alloy steels

    Shafts, rings and load-bearing parts.

  • Stainless steel

Corrosion-resistant parts, including 303 for turned components.

  • Engineering plastics

    Light, non-metallic components.

  • Titanium and nickel alloys

    Demanding environments, chosen per part.

Key dimensions can reach 0.005 mm, with typical precision of 0.01 mm and IT5–IT7 tolerance grades on suitable features. Final tolerances depend on the part, material and drawing.

Scale

Capacity and lead time

Monthly capacity exceeds 100,000 parts. Actual capacity depends on part complexity. Typical sample and production lead time is 20–30 days, confirmed per order.
